'Wilderness & Painting' Show and Sale

A show of the work of seven painters from across the country who combine wilderness experience with their art and create, with extraordinary power, unique landscape paintings of remote, pristine places. 

All pricing is for paintings only.  Shipping, handling and insurance are not included in the sale price shown.  All shipping, handling and insurance charges are determined between artist and buyer then added to the sale price.  Purchases are handled over the phone only at this time.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Payments accepted are cashier's check, personal check (art will ship when check clears), VISA and MasterCard.

Don Nice

Born in Visalia, California. Graduate of the University of Southern California and Yale University. Currently resides in New York. Don has had numerous one man exhibits in New York, Idaho, Belgium, Holland, South Carolina and many locations across the country.

Greg McHuron

Painting at the head of Bear Creek

Greg lives in Jackson, Wyoming where he shows his work at the Trailside Galleries. Greg's paintings can also be found at galleries located in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia and Montana.

Gary Keimig

Gary is a Wyoming native born to a pioneer ranching family in 1941. Gary's college education was in art and biology, particularly as it applies to wildlife and habitats. Gary's art reflects his interest and love of the Rocky Mountain west.

Dee Parker

Dee makes her home in Wyoming. She majored in design and oil painting at The Boston Museum of Fine Arts School. Although Dee has painted in watercolors she a preference for painting pastels and oils. Dee has painted in many locations across the US, Europe and Mexico.

Joe Wayne

Joe's art is personally inspired from studying what the masters and some contempories have accomplished. He challenges himself to connect with what they say through their work, in order to reach the "deeper side" of art.

Mark Gale

Born and raised in the Midwest, Mark has had a serious interest in art since first grade. He earned a BFA degree in Art from Kansas State University. He continued his studies in drawing and painting with a scholarship from the New York Academy of Art, and classes at the Art Students League of New York. Gale moved to Wyoming in 1985 to paint "The West" and has enjoyed the states vast landscape and rugged beauty ever since. He won the $10,000 purchase award for the 100th Anniversary of the Shoshone National Forest competition, and other various awards. Gale has also illustrated 3 children's books by country music singer Louise Mandrell. His work can be found in art collections in the US and Europe.





Lanny Grant

Raised on a ranch on the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, Lanny Grant has long had a fascination with the majestic landscapes of the region. Painting on location, he captures on canvas the relatively undiscovered scenery that most individuals may never have the opportunity to experience in person. Lanny Grant was a top 100 finalist in the 2002 and 1995 Arts For The Parks competition.
